BOLSUNOVSKY

Pechersk is the heart of Kyiv. Bolsunovskaya Street is located here and filled with business centers and premium buildings. ZIKZAK Architects had the opportunity to re-design the old facade, which clearly fell out of the entire «glossy-glass» surroundings of the street.

ZIKZAK team had interesting tasks: to carry out a complete reconstruction with the addition of an additional floor, stylobate part and a cold transition, which is necessary according to the norms. The shapes of the existing building are rectangular. That is why the most appropriate idea was to emphasize them during the renovation.

ZIKZAK Architects reconstructed the building with improved office conditions. The windows were significantly enlarged, and the lobby and entrance groups were changed. The visual part of the building has been completely redesigned.

Smooth shapes, curved lines and warm beige finish were designed to fit the building perfectly into the general atmosphere of the street. Inside the building, elevators were replaced, supply and exhaust ventilation was added to offices, as well as air conditioning.

A meticulous landscaping and parking plan has been curated, elevating the surroundings. Expansive sidewalks now boast lush greenery, breathing life into the urban sprawl. Notably, an architecturally designed ramp seamlessly links Bolsunovskogo Street to the elevated stylobate section, harmonizing accessibility and aesthetics.
