Karaoke Club

The phrase “First Thing” became the concept of the project: it is karaoke, where the main thing is to let go of control and allow yourself to sing.

The architectural language of the establishment is based on the synergy of opposites. Stone and water, nature and technology, darkness and light — everything is brought together into a single, coherent composition. Massive walls resembling rock ledges frame the main hall and create a dramatic backdrop. Light glides over these reliefs, emphasising shapes and contours. In the centre is a waterfall, a living vertical river that flows to the rhythm of the evening. Its reflections change depending on the lighting scenes: from crystal silver in romantic ballads to explosive neon in the hottest moments of the night.

The rock massif forms relief planes that act as light screens in the background. Contoured LED lines emphasise the geometry of the ‘cracks’, giving the room volume and drama. When the light is dimmed, the relief becomes a textured background; when it is intensified, it functions as a full-fledged stage for performance.

The waterfall is the central art object. The vertical water plane, visible from the guest area, creates movement and sound. In light scenes, it functions as a ‘live backdrop’: under RGBW lighting, the water takes on the colour of the set — from cobalt to warm amber tones. The waterfall has its own technical circuit: a closed-loop circulation system and a hidden water intake tray under the edge, with noise-absorbing inserts so that the sound of the flow does not compete with the vocals. The lighting is built into the vertical profile and is controlled together with the scenes. This allows you to change the character of the installation from ‘mirror water’ to ‘night neon’.

Light is the director of the evening. Instead of static lighting, a scenario-based approach is used: the periphery is warmer and lower in intensity; the stage is brighter and colder; the tree ‘breathes’ with soft lighting from below, and the waterfall receives accents that vary depending on the set. Round lamps with inscriptions — a system of landmarks and slogans. In a dark space, light rings with text are read as a visual code of the brand: they attract attention, set the rhythm, form routes and ‘selfie points’. The ring format is soft, safe for the eyes, with an even light field without flickering. ‘First thing. Think later’ whisper the chandeliers: let go of your doubts, allow yourself to be free. Thus, the interior not only decorates the space but also engages in dialogue with guests.

And what would karaoke be without disco balls accentuated by directional lighting — they add the necessary festivity and drive.

The zoning supports various evening scenarios. The main hall with a stage, bar and giant multimedia screen gives the feeling of a big concert. Private boxes allow you to sing only for your own, leaving the rest of the world behind the wall. A separate chamber space with its own lighting scenario, warmer, softer and more private – the VIP room. Here, there is more space between the seating groups, a different viewing angle for the media, and local acoustics. The VIP area is visually and acoustically separated: sound-absorbing and diffusing materials are integrated into the ‘rock’ relief, textiles and perforated panels. This area is a cosy chamber stage where you can feel the intimacy and at the same time the power of professional lighting and acoustics.

The tactile part of the project is designed for long-term use: deep dark tones with matte finishes (so as not to flash in the camera), embossed ‘stone’ surfaces, soft seats with a dense texture that hold their shape and are resistant to intensive use. Mirrored and glossy inserts are used sparingly — only where they create the effect of ‘expanding the scene’ and do not cause unwanted reflections in guests’ photos/videos.

This design creates its own newsworthy angle – dozens of ready-made angles for UGC content (photos and videos by people for people). The space is designed for longer stays (soft brightness of the periphery, VIP privacy, visual saturation of the hall without overload). Technologically, the club is ready for expanded formats: karaoke shows, parties with VJ sets, screen presentations, private events in the VIP area. As a result, the interior works as a marketing and monetisation tool – without additional “decorations” or seasonal alterations.

Karaoke Club is a space where the interior itself becomes a song. Stone keeps the rhythm, water adds melody, trees bring calm, and light turns the evening into a show. It is a holistic space where design and atmosphere merge into one story — a story about the freedom to be yourself.
