An office design for the CEO of an IT company — a 35 sq m space that reimagines the typology of an executive’s workspace. This is the ‘Office for One’, where intimacy is combined with clean lines and confident spatial planning. The materials used here emphasise sensitivity and attention to detail — precisely the qualities that define a modern, female approach to leadership.
CEO’s office

The space is conceptually divided into three zones: strategic meetings, individual work and relaxation. To maintain a sense of lightness, the designers opted against solid partitions in favour of textured glass and mirrored surfaces: this minimises visual clutter and provides soft, even lighting. Part of the ceiling has been left with exposed services, to which custom-made light fittings with solid frames and metal grilles are attached. This is a nod to industrial design, balancing the softness of the interior with a distinct geometric element.
Multi-layered walls have been used to ensure acoustic comfort and visual stability. The natural walnut finish sets a warm tone and gives structure to the space. Accent 3D panels in the workspace create a rhythmic interplay of light and shadow, which changes throughout the day depending on the angle of the light. This acts as a dynamic, tactile accent. The combination of structural clarity and warm materiality shapes the character of the space. This balance of decisiveness and sensitivity makes the interior an organic extension of the owner’s personality.

The meeting area is designed as a hybrid, transformable space. A T-shaped table with cobalt-blue lighting and leather column-style legs defines the layout of the room and emphasises its axial symmetry. Decorative shelves displaying design objects add a touch of individuality without distracting from the task at hand. Vitra chairs provide ergonomic support during long sessions, whilst the integrated media panel transforms the office into a presentation space without compromising privacy. It is easy to focus on strategy or make an important decision here — the space is both focused and relaxed.
The interior follows the ‘resimercial’ concept — an aesthetic hybrid of an office and a living room. The boundary between the workspace and the lounge is blurred by a monolithic light feature — an integrated column-shelf made of semi-transparent materials. The lounge exudes a homely cosiness. A seating area with armchairs and an accent in a rich cobalt blue dissolves formality and hierarchy. The coffee tables, with their glossy sheen, reflect the sky of Paphos, adding visual dynamism and lightness to the interior.

The graphite-coloured carpet with its geometric pattern acts as an acoustic dampener and creates a sense of gentle tranquillity and completeness. Attention to tactile qualities is maintained even in functional areas. The use of solid natural stone in the bathroom makes this space a natural extension of the interior, where every surface is of high quality and complements the architectural integrity.

In the evening, when the linear lighting creates a soft outline, the office becomes a place for reflection. Here, overlooking the Mediterranean horizon, true strength is revealed in harmony: the ability to be both effective and sensitive, professional and feminine.
