ZIKZAK Architects have completed the implementation of a large office for a consulting company in Cyprus. A team of 70 employees works in the new workspace of almost 1,000 square metres. Here, they are as efficient as possible, as the office is designed with a focus on increasing team productivity.
Cyprus Consulting Company Office
Different designs for different departments
The office is divided into two parts, one of which is decorated in dark, deep shades, while the other is light and bright.
The dark-coloured space is reserved for the team that requires intense concentration and focus for their work. Glossy panels on the walls and furniture create mirror reflections that give the room a futuristic character. This creates a parallel with space and infinity, as well as metaphorically reflecting the depth of the company’s competence and scale.
The light part of the office creates an atmosphere of focused calm and openness to new approaches. The dominance of natural wood, smooth lines and expressive textures creates a space that is pleasant to work in. The warm palette and thoughtful contrasting accents emphasise the character of the interior and stimulate creativity.
Entrance area
The reception areas are designed in a minimalist style with an emphasis on light and geometry. The centres of the compositions are large sculptural light installations in warm tones, which form a recognisable image of the space. The soft, rounded shapes of the lamps emphasise the plasticity of the interior and set the dynamics of movement.
The reception areas support the overall concept of soft geometry. The clean lines of the interior emphasise the openness and modernity of the space, while the combination of warm and cool tones creates a balanced atmosphere that is professional yet welcoming.
Active work, communication and quality rest
The work areas are designed as open spaces, cosy closed meeting rooms and spaces for collaborative work, which can also serve as rest areas. The lounge with bright blue sofas is a space for refocusing. It features a decorative ceiling with smooth lines that evoke the sea and relaxation, and a round designer lamp that symbolises team unity.
Spacious open terraces with comfortable wicker furniture allow you to relax as if you were outdoors without leaving the office premises.
Phytodesign
The greening of the office is a well-thought-out part of its design. Lush greenery in beautiful pots appears on the terraces, in every office, open space and lounge.
The designers have incorporated plants into the interior to make the atmosphere more lively and comfortable for everyday work. The vegetation adds warmth and naturalness to the interior, softening the technological character of the office. It creates psychological comfort, helps reduce stress and improve concentration, and serves as a natural visual accent that supports the integrity of the design concept. Plants also function as a zoning element, complementing the space with colour and natural accents.
The balance of concentration and openness, thoughtful ergonomics, living greenery and flexible work scenarios work for the team. Ultimately, it is a space that helps you think deeper, work faster and make stronger decisions.
