Modern office furniture is an integral part of the office interior

The fashion of taking care of the health of employees and the well-being of the company has come to office and commercial spaces forever. Trends in 2020 dictate comfortable, comfortable modern furniture and furnishings in offices.
Ergonomics, biophilia, mobility, flexibility, and creativity are among the most important slogans that define the design of the best modern office solutions. In addition to the fact that office design today relies on high quality furniture, it also focuses on comfort, multi-functionality, optimal use of space and creating an ideal atmosphere.
Managers, rank-and-file employees or highly qualified professionals all need to feel comfortable.

Providing ergonomics in the office, nowadays, is not so much the employer’s responsibility, which derives from health and safety regulations, but more a way to increase efficiency and employee satisfaction. More and more comfortable chairs and desks, more modern office solutions for open space (providing personal, acoustic, light, thermal comfort …), “domesticated” office interiors and better designed seating areas are among the “chips” in the battle for job candidates.

An ergonomic office chair is undoubtedly the key to productive work. Due to the high back, correct anatomical profiling and adjustment in different planes, office chairs and armchairs are in high demand. Interior design trends have also increased demand for office hokers, which allow you to work at a computer in a standing or semi-sitting position.

Height-adjustable desks for both seated and standing work have long been a hit in the office furniture industry. This modern solution is not only versatile, but above all it is good for the health of office workers. The ability to repeatedly change position during an eight-hour working day at a desk, working sitting and standing at a computer, has a positive effect on the spine, improves blood circulation and … motivates!

Ergonomics and office comfort reign supreme in the trend in 2020, which is why so much attention is paid to acoustics. The open spaces of office interiors require special attention in this area. A room with a lot of people working is noisy enough. Ideally, the noise should not exceed 35 decibels, in practice it is often twice as much. Therefore, when developing an office design project, in addition to furniture, lay also modern office solutions that absorb sound and suppress noise. This can be done using various soundproofing mats, special wall and/or ceiling coverings (acoustic panels) or simply mobile office partitions, which can simultaneously separate different areas in a larger space and provide employees with some privacy.

Phone booths meet specific needs of an office and its employees. These are single-person acoustic pods that provide privacy and a quiet place for phone calls or video conferences. They take up very little space (about half of a standard workstation), they are mobile and can be placed almost anywhere, even in a small office, and their interiors are ergonomic and personalized.

And finally … relaxation, which is – mandatory in today’s reality – a recreation area, without which generation Y and Z cannot imagine an office space. Here everyone can relax and find a nook to his liking. Someone prefers to snooze in a hammock, read, listen to music or chat with someone by the green wall of living plants, others work conceptually, watching the view from the window. The interior of the relaxation zone in the office interior suggests a calm color scheme, soft lines, home accents, cozy sofas, comfortable chairs with footstools, hammocks, etc.). All this contributes to effective relaxation at work, which translates into productivity and creativity.

This year’s office arrangements focus on modern, elegant minimalism, with cozy, “homey” accents. The dominant colors this season are mostly warm coral, burgundy, navy blue, bottle green, purple, yellow and gray.
