Gloria Cafe in the business center is a unique space that combines the functionality of a business hub with the tranquility of a city park. When you step into the cafe, you feel an oasis of calm and nature in the bustling metropolis. Our team at ZIKZAK Architects crafted the interior of this new establishment.
CAFE GLORIA
An Urban Garden in a Business Setting
The cafe’s centerpiece will be an island serving as the checkout and coffee bar. It will be adorned with live plants and surrounded by warm lighting. Made from natural wood and green tiles resembling grass, the plants here aren’t just decoration—they blend the city with nature. You can not only see but also touch the interior: moss, leaves, textured surfaces of furniture, and decor. This multisensory experience will help you unwind.
We will leave the ceiling open, with visible communication lines painted green. This is not just a technical but also a conceptual solution: the green ceiling highlights the oasis concept. Pendant lights shaped like spheres will mimic morning dew or soap bubbles, adding lightness and playfulness to the space. The sandy-hued natural wood flooring will give you the feeling of walking on a forest path.
For those seeking coziness, we will create an area with a soft sofa. A red woven panel on the wall will resemble a hammock or a picnic blanket. Above it, linear lights crossing each other will look like sun rays filtering through leaves. This area will be perfect for informal meetings, relaxation, or work.
The cafe will also feature a furniture block for refrigerators and additional elements, a serving table, and a corner with microwaves. We will conceal the equipment behind wooden paneling and plants to maintain the natural atmosphere. There will be bar seating, regular seating, and a soft zone to cater to different needs—from a quick coffee to long business meetings.
Every element of the cafe will work towards creating the feel of an urban garden. Office employees can take a break from the city’s hustle, guests can enjoy the coziness, and business meetings can take place in a relaxed setting. Design can change lives, and the concept of the Gloria Cafe in the business center is our contribution to creating a more harmonious, green, and human urban space.
